We exist to see people freed from Sex Trafficking.
We actively support the victims of human trafficking and we build effective working relationships with others who share our vision. Our core mission is to help put a long-term, second phase aftercare in place for victims of human trafficking; to see the vulnerable transformed to independent survivors living fruitfully and contributing to their communities.
Our organisation has grown out of the ongoing work of Invisible Traffick in Ireland, who have been raising awareness of human trafficking since 2012. We established Invisible Traffick GB in late 2014 with its own unique vision and in September 2015 we became a Community Interest Company (CIC).
Through a continued presence at national conferences and events, and a variety of speaking engagements, we reach thousands of people to increase awareness of the signs of Human Trafficking and to develop a deeper understanding of the psychological trauma effects of sexual exploitation.
We fully support the police and other organisations in their continued fight to identify and rescue victims of human trafficking. We work closely with these agencies and assist in the first step of their journey to recovery. We have first hand experience working with survivors leaving government safe houses; victims of exploitation from all cultures and backgrounds.
We have succeeded in raising our profile with local networks, agencies and statutory services, all of whom are eager to support and work with us into the future and are repeatedly confirming the need for such provision in our area. We are also now part of the West Yorkshire Anti-Trafficking Network, which is the first of its kind in the UK.
We work tirelessly to highlight and expose the issues of human trafficking for sexual exploitation, to educate, to gain support and to end this heinous crime.
